Rossendale Art Trail at Kay Street

‘Creation Day’ Saturday 7th and 8th October 2017 Kay Street Baptist Church

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

John 1:3 New International Version

As part of the Rossendale Art Trail, all the church are invited to participate, either by attending the Art Trail or exhibiting work they have done, which can be artwork or crafts.

Also everyone is invited to demonstrate an activity e.g. knitting, watercolour or card making and if possible to include members of the public in their activity, to recreate the wonderful ‘Hands On’ experience, which takes place on Tuesday mornings at Kay Street Baptist Church. You only need to demonstrate for half and hour.

If you just want to exhibit your work that is fine.

If you are interested or have some questions please get in touch with Brian Williams, Allyson Jump, Renee White, Jean Prior, Jess Goldie or Andrew Holland.

Bring your work to “Hands On” on the 26th September or the morning service of Sunday 1st October.

A similar ‘Creation Day’ too place on June 13th 1992, when Flower arranging, paper-making, lino-cutting, an art exhibition etc. took place and it was very successful.

Starting from the weekend of 7th October, the Rossendale Art Trail is a unique annual event were artists in the local area open up their studios to the public.
